Circa [1981]. [1981]. - Black-and-white offset lithograph, 8-1/2 inches high by 5-1/2 inches wide, depicting Star Trek crew members including Scotty. Inscribed "To Danny" and signed "James Doohan - Scotty" below the illustration. There is some light creasing to the left hand corners with a tiny tear to the right edge. Very good.
The drawing was created by fan artist Sat Nam Kaur Keahey for the cover of "Interstat" issue number 46, August 1981, a Star Trek letterzine published in Omaha, Nebraska and edited by Teri Meyer.
Actor James Doohan created the character of Scotty, the chief engineer of the U.S.S. Enterprise for the original "Star Trek" television series in 1966. Very good .
